can't you rage out over the Herald's article entitled "woman ignores raped girl's pleas for help" ... it's sure made me ragey, fairly certain the bad guy in this story remains the rapist...
If the woman was named she could almost sue. The headline implies that she ignored the girl.. not correct she gave she advice to stay away from him (the alleged Rapist). Secondly and quite horrendously the headline implies that she ignored the pleas of a raped girl, whereas in fact that event was yet to happen.
This blog is dedicated to getting angry at things printed in each day's New Zealand Herald. I've been doing it for years (getting angry, that is) so I thought that I may as well write some of it down.
Job offers from major New Zealand newspapers welcome.
Guess, I'll just go and buy a paper then...

They have done more harm than good this time.
ReplyDeleteNow the woman will be less inclined to come forward now and help the police.
Nice work.
I had to work....
ReplyDeleteI thought the headline said "woman ignores rape girl's pleas for help", which kinda makes the poor girl sound like a misguided superhero.
